How does one go about accessing Narcan?
Revere is an Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution site, which is a MA Dept. of Public Health Program that allows us to provide free Narcan to active drug users, and to bystanders (families) whose loved one is actively using. Trainings are available on Tuesday evenings from 4 PM - 8 PM. We also accept offsite requests, should you prefer to be trained in the privacy of your home. Narcan can also be purchased at pharmacies throughout the Commonwealth without a prescription, which is primarily covered by insurance.
