How do I dispose of batteries?
Batteries and other hazardous waste items (waste oil, anti-freeze, florescent light bulbs, Nickel Cad Batteries, Mercury thermometers & thermostats), Electronics (computers, TVs, other electronics), Paint (all paint cans must have original label), Other (propane tank) items are accepted ONLY at the City Yard, 319 Charger Street,ON THE 4th Saturday of the month from 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, upon payment of a designated fee. (PLEASE NOTE THIS SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW DPW FACILITY.
