What is the Planning Board?

The Planning Board oversees the subdivision control law for the subdivision of land and the provision of roadways and utilities for building lots within new subdivisions. The Planning Board is also advisory to the City Council for all zoning amendments and master plan reports. The Planning Board is comprised of 9 members appointed by the Mayor; and it conducts monthly meetings called by the Chair in the Office of the Planning Board on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
