What is the DCR Reservation?

The Revere Beach Reservation includes Revere Beach from Eliot Circle to Carey Circle and includes all of the roadways, sidewalks, seawalls, pavilions, bathroom facilities and public buildings on Revere Beach Boulevard as well as the parkland and small park areas located between Ocean Ave and Revere Beach Boulevard, including Ocean Avenue itself. The Reservation is a National Historic Landmark recognized as the first public beach in America. DCR both manages and maintains the Revere Beach Reservation, which is also patrolled by the Massachusetts State Police, which has a headquarters facility on Revere Beach Boulevard.
