What is the Shirley Avenue Transformative Development Initiative (TDI):

The Shirley Avenue TDI is a multi-year planning, organization, advocacy, branding and revitalization effort directed to the revitalization, integration and improvement of the commercial and residential community on and around this vital community corridor that links Bell Circle and Revere Beach. This is one of 13 such TDI District in the Commonwealth; and it is funded and otherwise supported through staff and other resources provided by Mass Development. It is supported through a community-based collaboration in which the City of Revere as well as various neighborhood organizations are involved with the goal of enhancing this historically important multicultural community in Revere.
