What is the Broadway Storefront Improvement Program?

The Broadway and Shirley Ave Storefront Improvement Program provides financial assistance to property/business owners to upgrade their storefront. It is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program from an entitlement grant received from the Department of Housing & Urban Development. The Storefront Improvement Program provides 50% matching funds for pre-approved storefront improvements up to $25,000.00 per storefront. All Broadway and Shirley Ave property owners and/or business owners are eligible to apply.
