What is the new homebuyers program?

The City of Revere through the North Suburban Consortium offers First-Time Home Buyer Down-Payment Assistance to new homeowners. All approved applicants are eligible to receive up to $7,500.00 for a 0% interest, no monthly payment, five-year term loan, which is completely forgiven after the five years, unless the house is sold within that period, in which case a pro-rata repayment is required. Eligible applicants must have received a certificate form a Home Buyer Counseling Workshop as well as meet income and housing qualifications.
