The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funded by the Department of Housing & Urban Development provides communities with resources to address a wide range of community development needs. The CDBG program works to ensure decent affordable housing, to provide services to low and moderate income residents, and to create jobs through expansion and retention of businesses. CDBG Program funds can be used for improving roadways, sidewalks, parks, residential rehabilitation and commercial revitalization.
