How do I obtain a Certificate of Compliance from the Fire Department when selling my 1- or 2-family home?

After you have obtained a closing date, contact the Fire Prevention Unit in the Revere Fire Department at (781) 286-8363. You will need to schedule an inspection of your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms right away. The fire department issues the certificate of compliance which will be required at the closing.
