A dumpster permit must be obtained from the Board of Health for businesses and food establishments. Dumpster permits must be obtained from the Department of Public Works for construction sites. All new businesses and food establishments shall be required to have a dumpster of sufficient size and enclosed to restrict physical and visual access to the dumpster. The fee for a dumpster permit is $50 dollars annually. Dumpsters are subject to inspection for proper use and removal of debris and trash. Call 781-286-8311 to register a dumpster. Unregistered and/or unkempt dumpsters are subject to code violation and fines.
