In general, dumpsters must be closed when not in use and locked at the end of the day. Dumpsters must be of sufficient size, and not be allowed to overflow. Dumpsters must be free of debris and sanitized regularly. Dumpsters may not be emptied before 7am in residential areas. Violation of city ordinances in maintenance and use of dumpsters is subject to citation by the Board of Health.
