Carts must be placed at least 3 feet from obstacles such as utility poles, mailboxes, trees, and parked cars. Should be as close to the curb as possible, but no further than 5 feet away from curb edge. Make sure the container's handle is toward your home and the arrows on the top of the lid are facing the street.
