Every year in June the Real Estate properties are advertised in the local newspaper for non-payment of taxes and then turned over to Tax Title in the Treasurer's Office by June 30th. Unpaid taxes will eventually become a Tax Lien, which could be cause for the Treasurer to begin foreclosure proceedings in Land Court.
